4 - CLEAR ANXIETY (+ Additional Grounding)

Hey there!

Today we will discharge excess energy, calm the system, release fear and teach your system how to process the new energies coming in. We'll also show it how to stay grounded during full moons and other challenging astrological changes.

However, like I said in the very first lesson, physical grounding is important too. I mean, it really is vital. In fact, if you don't take physical action in actively avoiding things which unground you, and make a conscious effort to use the grounding techniques listed in lesson 1 to bring you back down when you are ungrounded, the downloads can't do their job. You can have all the downloads you want on the spiritual level, but unless you support the physical too, you'll still be out of balance. Remember, its both worlds we need to work on. Its the bridging of heaven and earth. Fail to address one side of this and you'll rob yourself of some of the wonderful transformation that awakening can create, because you'll still be stuck on level one. Lets get this thing mastered, and move on! I'll share a re-cap below to help refresh you on the physical grounding as well as some info on anxiety.

Why do I feel so anxious during awakening?

Anxiety during spiritual awakening generally stems from being too highly 'charged'. Its like we're taking in too much energy without a way to root it (grounding will address the first part of that) and without a way to discharge it. We need to teach the soul how much energy is appropriate to accept, and teach the body how to ground and use it, discharging what is not necessary.

We may also have some old programming (pagan lifetimes, witchcraft, tribal) that governs how we behave during full moons, new moons and other astrological changes. Its as if the soul hasn't recognized that we are in a new body, and we don't need these old 'rituals' in order to connect spiritually.

Avoid the following!

Remember, like we covered in lesson 1, if you want to avoid feeling anxious during awakening, don’t do things that are going to:

  • Charge your energy
  • Stimulate your kundalini
  • Or alter your energetic or psychic state

Those are the 3 golden rules. Don't break them until you know and feel for sure that you are fully grounded. When you are you can carefully test the above to see how you feel and how your energy responds.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at what to avoid for now (and why).

Energy healing – whether you are giving or receiving any form of energy healing, it generally opens you up (both emotionally AND energetically). Avoid intuitive healing, energy healing or modalities and alternative methods (apart from the energy healing in this course - it is safe to do). Doing energy healing at these first two stages will charge your energy, which will open you up further, which will intensify the emotional triggering. The emotions will get WORSE. We want slow and steady, so this is not a good idea.

Spiritual practices – Spiritual practices also tend to charge our energies. Many are very energetically stimulating (even if they feel calming to your body) and a lot of spiritual practices actually ENCOURAGE kundalini to rise up the spine. This includes things like meditation, yoga, mediumship, intuitive training or purposely instigating astral travel. Be careful too, many well-meaning practitioners or teachers will tell you that they know it will be fine, or that their method won’t do that. Tread carefully and take responsibility for your own well being. If they haven’t been through it, they likely won’t realize how incredibly sensitive and explosive our energies can be.

Things that alter your psychic or energetic state – Be careful with the likes of incense, essential oils and crystals. These are all wonderful and enjoyable things that I still enjoy now, but many of them (even designed for the purpose of grounding) can be ungrounding. You might also find due to your energetic sensitivity that many items with strong energetic resonance can leave you with a sort of imprint that can be hard to clear. Please note that I am not advocating that you never use these things ever – just don’t use them for the purpose of grounding. During days or times when you know you are steady and grounded, you can test them out and see how you feel.
