1 - GROUNDING

Hey there!

Welcome to the course! I'm so delighted that you're here and I thank you for joining us. Today is our first lesson and energy download session. Not only is it exciting because its the very first step, but also because it is undoubtedly the most vital.

Today we’ll fully ground your body, soul and energy and we’ll teach your system how to do it naturally on a daily basis.

Most people don't realize that grounding is the number 1 thing that can address almost ALL of your worst spiritual awakening symptoms!

Common signs of an UNGROUNDED spiritual awakening include:

  • Feeling spacey, confused or disconnected
  • Normal daily life feels like an unmanageable burden
  • Emotional issues rise up uncontrollably, wildly or erratically
  • Sensitivities are intensified (emotions and psychic senses)
  • Feeling confused and lost - unable to rationalize the experience
  • Knowing you have a purpose or mission but no idea what it is or how to accomplish it


Is any of this sounding familiar? If it is, don't worry, by the end of today's lessons you'll have exactly what you need to begin grounding yourself immediately. But its important you know that this is an ongoing process. Think of it like a sort of training program. We are training your energy into a more grounded state. And while the energetic downloads to support that will be in place after this first video, its down to YOU to ensure that you focus on grounding the physical side too.

It just takes a little awareness. Any time you notice the symptoms listed above, you'll know you're ungrounded, and need to make a conscious effort to guide your energies back into the body and the present moment. Eventually you'll find that you rarely ever become ungrounded. It will be a mastered lesson. It will be part of who you are. But for now, keep that awareness and keep training your energy to stay rooted in the physical.

Once you are fully grounded:

  • Awakening will feel more balanced and in control
  • You'll be more present and aware in the physical (which you need to be if you want to fulfill a life purpose)
  • Emotional sensitivity will lessen and emotional triggering will be more spaced instead of all at once - you'll have less anxiety too
  • You'll begin to understand your journey, you'll have insights and epiphanies. The jig saw pieces will come together and make SENSE. Your life purpose will become known and realized because you are READY for it.

REMEMBER - Pretty much every challenge that you are having during your awakening can be resolved, or at least EASED by grounding – but it takes practice and awareness to make it an automatic thing. With that, lets take a look at some grounding techniques that are safe, fast and effective.


EMERGENCY GROUNDING TECHNIQUES

Firstly, what to avoid for now (and why):

Energy healing – whether you are giving or receiving any form of energy healing, it generally opens you up (both emotionally AND energetically). Avoid intuitive healing, energy healing or modalities and alternative methods (apart from the method used in this course - it is perfectly safe to do). Doing energy healing will charge your energy, which will open you up further, which will intensify the emotional triggering. The emotions will get WORSE. We want slow and steady, so this is not a good idea.

Spiritual practices – Spiritual practices also tend to charge our energies. Many are very energetically stimulating (even if they feel calming to your body) and a lot of spiritual practices actually ENCOURAGE kundalini to rise up the spine. This includes things like meditation, yoga, mediumship, intuitive training or purposely instigating astral travel. Be careful too, many well-meaning practitioners or teachers will tell you that it will be fine, or that their method won’t do that. Tread carefully and take responsibility for your own well being. If they haven’t been through it, they likely won’t realize how incredibly sensitive and explosive our energies can be.

• Things that alter your psychic or energetic state – Be careful with the likes of incense, essential oils and crystals. These are all wonderful and enjoyable things that I still enjoy now, but many of them (even designed for the purpose of grounding) can be ungrounding. You might also find due to your energetic sensitivity that many items with strong energetic resonance can leave you with a sort of imprint that can be hard to clear. Please note that I am not advocating that you never use these things ever – just don’t use them for the purpose of grounding. During days or times when you know you are steady and grounded, you can test them out and see how you feel.

Ok, now for what I would recommend that you can safely use. Yay!

My first recommendation would always be prevention rather than cure - sometimes a few days WITHOUT the things listed above is actually more grounding than traditional grounding methods. So if you try a few of these methods and find that they DON'T work, take a few days off and see if that helps. There is no grounding method I've found that can truly ground you as quickly or as deeply as abstinence from things that do charge you.

Food - Be sure that you're eating regularly. Food is dense in energy and helps us balance out the influx of light coming into our bodies. When the light quotient gets too high, we need to purposely add more density to even it out. Food can do that - particularly meat and root vegetables. If ever I feel really ungrounded or spacey, I cook a big pot of hearty root vegetable soup - potatoes, carrots, turnips, stock and herbs etc. It has the double effect of food bringing physical density AND earthly, rooted energy from being in the soil.

Tea Tree Oil - So, oils are off the table, for now anyways (unless you have a deep understanding of essential oils and know which ones to avoid). Tea tree oil is safe, even for those going through spiritual emergency. It's deeply grounding, and as it's derived from a plant, the connection to soil and mother nature should pull your roots to the ground pretty instantly. It also has the added benefit of clearing your energy if you're feeling overwhelmed or needing cleansed. I like to put a few drops in my hands and run them over my head and through my aura. Instant grounding.

Connection - Keeping a steady grip on reality and managing a normal daily life can be extremely challenging when you feel you're in the eye of the storm. That's where people come in. I know a natural part of awakening is withdrawing and changing social circles, but spending time with other people who are NOT going through the same thing can be really useful. Think of them as anchors that can help to hold you here in their structure and stability. This can draw your energies and focus into the present moment. It gives you a chance to escape your head for a while, especially if you can engage in an activity. If you spend every moment absorbed in your emotions, feelings and sensations it can be naturally ungrounding. Do something to escape that a while and you’ll naturally feel more grounded. Take a little break from serious things and have some fun, be silly, engage in your passions and most of all... LAUGH!
